Shuhov's Tower |

Shuhov's Tower - the monument to technical-engineer thought. The design of the tower in the way of hyperbolic on curved metallically pillars was constructed in 1886. About 200 original buildings have been constructed according to this design. The highest (148,3 m) six-multistage tower was built in Moscow in 1921, and the USSR begun radio broadcasting from that tower, and from 1945 - the television programs too. Water tower in Pomichna is one of the 200 buildings on V.Shuhov's design in the world. |
